I truly am pleased to be with you today and to have the opportunity to share my ideas about business ethics with you. That said, a few caveats. I’m gratified that our colleagues at Software Impressions think enough of me to ask me to address this gathering of our profession. But I’m a journeyman, not a great strategic thinker, and certainly not an inspirational leader on the subject. If I turn a phrase that you find clever or thought-provoking, it’s purely accidental, I assure you. And I do not have a license to practice philosophy. But I do believe in a few things. I can’t prove them, but they seem borne out by my experience.
